My Nonexistance



Previously known as the Enigmatic Man or the Superior, I am the Nobody of Xehanort and the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts II. Unlike the other Organization members, my title is not revealed in the World That Never Was. My name is derived from an anagram of Ansem with an X, due to my former Xehanort taking his master’s name prior to the discarding of his body. Like my other, I am also collecting hearts, but my intent is to absorb Kingdom Hearts to become a complete and almighty godlike supreme being. I can manifest energy as red "aerial blades" (which are similar in appearance to lightsabers, but in so many ways are far more superior and convenient in design and purpose). With it, I also command power over the element of nothingness (a vastly supreme power) and I control the Sorcerer Nobodies, as well. I can move by the power of emotions in rage and sorrow despite, me as a Nobody, not being able to feel either. I am manipulative by nature, as during the final battle, I attempt to turn Riku and Sora against each other. Most Organization members fear me because of me great power; Vexen quickly agreed to eliminate Sora when Marluxia makes the empty threat of reporting the failure of his Riku Replica to me.

I am the man who fought Sora in the Final Mix version of the original Kingdom Hearts at Hollow Bastion to test Sora; I was the first member of the Organization that could be fought. I am first seen in Kingdom Hearts II during the beginning at the beautiful beach of darkness, stating that Sora looks a lot like Roxas and asks if he has met him. It is not until later in the game until they find out my reason for this revelation: If I was to create my Kingdom Hearts, I would need the Keyblade to defeat the Heartless and return their captive hearts back to Kingdom Hearts, but could not achieve this goal unless Sora was awakened. Later on, I appear in front of Sora at Hollow Bastion to summon my fellow members and taunt him, and then later at Hollow Bastion again when the enormous Heartless army attacked it. While he escapes with Mickey, Sora confronts me again in the World That Never Was when DiZ, then revealed as my former master ‘Ansem the Wise’, attempts to contain the power of Kingdom Hearts…a foolish move by an even more foolish man. As we then reminisce the past I reveal that I am trying to build a brand new world, one heart at a time, and that it is all thanks to him that all of this was made possible, for he is the source of all Heartless. His little machine then explodes, sending him to oblivion, and leaving a huge hole in my Kingdom Hearts which triggers an annoying event where many of the hearts in Kingdom Hearts rain down and again become Heartless, hindering my plans. However, I was able to use what was left of Kingdom Hearts's power, taking on a new form to fight Sora and his friends. Though I was thought to be defeated, I managed to separate Sora and Riku from the others to fight them personally. I was the last member of Organization XIII that Sora, with help from Riku, battles and supposedly vanquishes in Kingdom Hearts II.

I am voiced by Paul St. Peter in the English version of Kingdom Hearts II and by Norio Wakamoto in the Japanese version. Two very talented persons.
